The
Youth Group will be attending the National Youth Gathering
in New Orleans in July of this year. We have been working
on many fundraisers because we need all the help we can get
(it costs approximately $1000 per person and we have 17
people going!) and we will let everyone know of them when
they come up.
As of right now we are collecting all recyclable,
refundable cans and
bottles. If you have any (and any amount will help!) please
leave them in a bag in the youth room. Each Sunday the
youth will distribute the bottles among each other and
return them and collect the money. We really appreciate
having a congregation that is so willing to help us, as we
have already returned many, many bottles.
Message to the Youth: When
you have a week you can return bottles, please
let Mrs.
Fox know. We really could use your help, and if everyone
pitches in it would only be one bag a week to return
instead of one person taking on a car full of bags.
